NEW 2024 MM2H Requirements for Visa Permit
Key points to note under the latest 2024 guidelines:
- Application should be submitted and completed through an MM2H tour operating business that has been licensed by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture under the Tourism Industry Act 1992 [Act 482].
- Approval from the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) is required if a participant wishes to withdraw funds from their fixed deposit.
- If a participant decides to terminate their participation in the MM2H Programme and leave Malaysia permanently, they may withdraw their full fixed deposit — only after obtaining official approval from the Ministry.
